WHAT we do

Project Description:
Beginning this fall we plan to hold continuing education classes on various topics. We have taken one of the school classrooms from ROCK and have installed a network of 16 machines with DSL Internet access. Twelve run Windows 2000(C) and the rest run various versions of Linux.

Topics that we expect to teach at this point include: Digital photography, Basic Internet and search skills, Basic computer repair and upgrade tasks. Course specifics are not available at this time. Our classes are usually less than six people so we tend to cover the basics in the first session and customize the remaing two or three sessions based on the needs of the students. This provides attendees with the maximum value for their time in class. Generally we charge $20 - $25 for members and an additional $5 to non-members.
